Our Mission

The Friends of the Tunbridge World’s Fair is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide exclusive tax-deductible support for raising awareness, continued improvement, and preservation of the Union Agricultural Society (known far and wide as the Tunbridge World’s Fair), its fairgrounds, infrastructure, educational programs, and associated events while acknowledging and promoting its agricultural heritage and rural culture.

Donations to the Friends of the Tunbridge World’s Fair will be put to work where they will do the most good. The first projects supported by the Friends of the Tunbridge World’s Fair include ensuring continued — and expanded — availability of the handicapped shuttle during the 2008 Fair, and refurbishing the benches throughout the fairgrounds.

Regardless of size, donations to the Friends of the Tunbridge World’s Fair go straight into the fairgrounds. Every dollar matters — no gift is too small. All contributions are tax deductible. The Friends of the Tunbridge World’s Fair will make every effort to recognize its supporters.
